Amelia's Birthday.

It was my little girls 1st Birthday on Tuesday, she had a wonderful day full of fun, people and presents. We took her to Farmer Parrs animal world in the morning and had a BBQ in the afternoon/evening with friends and family to celebrate an amazing 1st year with our little treasure.

How fast a year goes by! Here's my little Birthday girl, Amelia at one year old.

Trip to Blackpool Zoo.

On Saturday we took a trip to Blackpool Zoo, a place I haven't been in maybe 20 years. It was a birthday treat for my little girl who is one year old tomorrow, and she loved it. She didn't where to look  there was so much to see, from the lions and giraffes enclosures to the peacocks wandering around free. So much for little eyes to takein.
Now when you go to the Zoo you just have to take your camera with you don't you? It would be a wasted oppurtunity not to..........and so that is what I did. Where else do you get to see such amazing animals (except maybe on safari and having the time and the money available at the same time doesn't happen too often).

Goodbye Toto

This week my wife's family cat passed away sadly on Wednesday. She was a very friendly cat, always wandering up to us on visits for a stroke and to say hello. She was 16 years old, a good age for a cat I think. The family miss her greatly and as always it was a sad occasion when they realised that nothing could be done for her and they had to make that awful decision that all pet owners dread having to make.

I did some photos of Toto last year for a print for them and decided to repay them a visit and give them an alternate treatment in Black and white with a square crop.

This is my tribute to a very much loved and missed Toto.
